This is a used 16mm comedy filmstrip of OUR KIDS titled WEDDING BELLS, #2293 from inventory. The film is crisp and clear but a little 'wavy' here and there -- looks like a much enjoyed film. One reel labeled 50'. Original box is excellent condition and labeled SAFETY FILM for home use. Story appears to take place in lobby of a country club or church foyer. The cute little Black boy you see in the photo is begging the parson / minister to marry a couple QUICK. Parson does the deed with the "gang" of kids as witnesses. Bride looks like a schoolteacher, groom looks like a baker with apron. I don't know if the children are Hal Roach OUR GANG / Little Rascals or not. I don't see Spanky McFarland, but there are 3 white boys, tallest like Alfalfa, 1 white girl, and two black boys, one of which steals the show. He presents the happy couple with their first wedding gift, a baby carriage which looks like a stork. Smart little fellow --!. I took photos of frame at the public library where I viewed this and other 16mm films at auction on library's microfilm reader since I don't have my projector running yet. See my other vintage home viewing 16mm films at auction this week and combine on postage! Thanks for looking !
